04/19/2005: She needs an attitude change, methinks....
According to an entertainment report which just aired on XM Radio, apparently actress Téa Leoni was reluctant to suggest to her husband, David Duchovny, that she wanted a part in Duchovny's directorial debut, The House of D, because she didn't want people to get the idea that she got the part because of her relationship to Duchovny.
Ms. Leoni needs to take a lesson from Frances McDormand. When asked in an interview how she won her Oscar winning role of Marge Gunderson in the film Fargo, she archly replied, "The fact that I'm sleeping with the director may have something to do with it." [McDormand is married to Fargo co-director Joel Coen.]
