04/12/2005: The Dove Foundation
Just had a weird "survey solicitation phone call" from what sounded like a voice generated robatron...that turned out to a humanoid with a "voice" like a commercially prepared set of interactive "questions" from this group The DOVE Foundation.
Anybody know anything about this group? Are they neutral? "Focus on the Fam" leaning? ACLU- Freedom-of-the-Movie-Maker's? V-Chippers? Anybody have a handle on their "Mission"?
Their website lists a "survey" to take...but I haven't yet gotten that far and "spooked" the survey-taker on the phone by turning the questioning around to asking "what the purpose and intent of Dove is in relation to the applicable Film ratings system and types of Films which get made for public consumption."
