Via Bryan at Why Now? we get this story from Australia of an extermination that went a bit south:
An overzealous attempt to rid a Thai restaurant of cockroaches sparked an explosion that blew the eatery apart, emergency services said Thursday.I don't know if I'm pleased or dismayed that The Great American Principle that Nothing Succeeds Like Excess has apparently caught on in other countries....
Three men were hospitalized with burns after they set off 36 cockroach fumigation devices aerosol cans filled with chemicals which apparently exploded after their contents came into contact with an oven pilot light.
