04/03/2005: A threat to Barry Bonds's single season home run record?
Hideki Matsui just hit the first home run of the 2005 season (a two run blast into right-center field).
Assuming he doesn't hit another homer tonight (and it's the bottom of the 8th, 2 out, so it's not likely), Matsui's on a pace to hit 162 homers this year.
