04/03/2005: It's Opening Day (of sorts)
of sorts because Opening Day should be the first Monday of April, with all teams opening and not the first Sunday of April with just The Hated Yankees against The Newly Un-cursed Red Sox. But there is a game tonight, and it counts, so the season opens tonight.
7:05 PM, CDT on ESPN2. I'll be watching, unless ESPN2 decides to pre-empt all its programming to cover the death of the Pope. Given what I seem to be seeing on every other channel the few times I've turned on the TV this weekend, that seems depressingly possible, but I'll keep my fingers crossed and tune in anyway.
