03/28/2005: The scary thing is, they let him carry a gun....
We get this one via the folks at The Urban Legends Reference Pages. Watch what happens when the DEA Agent tells the school kids:
This is a Glock 40. Fifty Cent, Too Short, all of them talk about a Glock 40, OK? I'm the only one in this room professional enough that I know of to carry this Glock 40.Surely you can see it coming before clicking on the link, right? The damnfool shoots himself in the leg right after that.
I'll give him credit; he certainly kept his cool after shooting himself; I would have probably fainted dead away. But somehow I can't see this being "a career enhancing move", as we used to say in the Navy. And according to the ULRP, he has been suspended (or at least was suspended) pending an investigation. However, shooting himself may not have been the most stupid thing he did that morning. The most stupid thing he did may have been letting himself get videotaped; now his usefulness as an undercover agent is pretty well shot to hell, and he may have jeopardized his family and friends as well.
Yes, I feel lots safer now, thanks for asking.
