US News Wire has this post about the upcoming Poetry Center Program here in Chicago."The Poetry Center's spring program exemplifies the organization's continuing efforts to promote public interest in poetry. From a cowboy poet to emerging poets, and inner-city public school students to a Grammy Award-winning urban alternative artist, the series embraces the wide range of American poetry today.
Now in its 32nd year, the Reading Series is one of the city's longest-running. The Poetry Center is in residence at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Chicago Magazine calls The Poetry Center "one of the city's true cultural gems."
