03/27/2005: DeLayed Hypocrisy
It would be remiss of me to not post this additional GEM of an article about DeLay's Family Let Father Die in 1988 in the Chicago Tribune today. Written by Walter F. Roche Jr. and Sam Howe Verhovek, it details and illustrates the unbelievable and extraordinary HYPOCRISY of Tom Delay in his words and actions over the sad case and legal issues in the Teri Schivo matter when he allowed his own father to be removed from life support and refused extensive medical intervention in agreement with the father's request. (And the "wrongful death lawsuit" filed by the family - Now on DeLay's list as a Senator to deny future litigants that very LEGAL RIGHT to seek redress on behalf of their families by limiting tort laws and processes.)
