Here is a GEM about the "super-majority" required for those Congressional nominees to be confirmed:
Why not require 60 votes? by Mark Mellman (The Hill).
It is so unfortunate that the GOP policies and Ethics have no firm grounding in substance or form and must of necessity be fluid enough to conform to that "opportune vessel" of political expediency on an as needed basis for what ever is their agenda of the day.
