02/07/2005: Apropos of nothing in particular....
other than the fact that my dog ate the last of her food this weekend, which means that I have to donate another $70 to the Dr. Rusty Bell Needs To Make A Boat Payment Fund (owing to some GI problems she has, the vet has her on a special diet, which is only available at the vet's office, of course)...
I just thought I'd share this picture of my best girlfriend and me. Of course, my best girlfriend is the better looking of the two of us:
A counterweight to the proliferation of Cat Blogging (Kevin Drum™) in the blogosphere. And no, this doesn't inaugurate Monday Dog Blogging (Len Cleavelin™ if it takes off), as this is the only picture of The Princess that I have.

Ah...finally, a picture I can see. Thanks, Len. ;-) OK...Brock...you're up to bat here. Where's that cat picture you "promised" in your Bio?

I already did a post with a picture of the Monkey Cat. Of course, it was lost, apparently along with the picture. But I've re-uploaded it, and you can view it here:

I'll post a picture of the Panther at some point.

None of the posts or archives are lost; I have them. Just need to upload them to a new directory, reindex them and fix links to pictures. I'll be working on that in my Copious Free Time™

Is that the Mighty Thor on the shelf in the back?

If I'd known you already had a "Bookend cat" I (might not) have forwarded my puny examples of the craft...LOL.

That is indeed The Mighty Thor (My Favorite Marvel Character)... or rather, the Toy Biz Marvel Legends (forget what series) action figure of the same. I actually spent years sporadically looking for a Thor action figure to display on my desk, so when I finally ran that one down I had to snap it up.
Having since picked up the Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. figure, and the Elvis Presley, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. variant off eBay, now my only action figure regret is that I didn't snatch up the "Captain Action" commemorative figures featuring the Captain in Green Hornet and Kato costumes....

But what I REALLY wanted to know was WHAT books rate a "nod" to get to sit on Len's shelf (titles are too half-hidden.) So, Whatcha' reading there???

Those aren't books, they're VHS tapes. Were you to visit my apartment today, however, you'd note that the shelf (it's actually a hutch over my computer desk) is packed with DVDs.
Near as I can tell.... I can't make out the top and second from the top tapes. The third from the top is "Pulp Fiction" (widescreen). Below "Pulp Fiction" is "George's Best Stuff", a 90 min. compilation tape of George Carlin's own favorite material. Below Carlin is a tape I taped off a cable channel (I think it's "The Right Stuff", which I've since bought on DVD), and at the bottom is the VHS of "2010: The Year We Make Contact"
