02/03/2005: The Best Kept Secrets:
Eric Muller (A UNC Law Professor who blogs over at Is That Legal) wrote a Funny (Mostly) True Confessions. He claims it, "made him feel better."
To him (posted in his comment section) I say:
You could tie me down; threaten me with torture; abuse my mind or good intentions (whatever) and I'll NEVER go back and revisit those most awful, embarrassing, dirty-laundry secrets of my childhood. Besides...my kids might find out...THEN what would I do?? Where's the "Moral Example" I'd set then, eh? Washed down the River of Self-Regret it stays...Oh, No you're not tricksie-ing me into going there. So keep your "feels do-goodiness" to yourself!!!
Who'd want to have all those "True Confessions" at this late date...or is this just another side-ways attempts at inserting more "spiritual confessionalism" into our consciousness ala "the Moral values" crowd? Well, shame on you Eric, it won't work on me...So, there!
