Actually, I first heard the news yesterday morning on Air America's Morning Sedition, but Juan Cole verifies today that Pentagon No. 3 man Douglas Feith, a major architect of the Mess in Mesopotamia, has resigned his position under the pressure of an FBI investigation and two Congressional investigations. If we're lucky, "investigation" will turn into "indictment", which will become "conviction", followed by "imprisonment". But my expectations are so low that getting rid of the worthless son of a bitch is enough for me, at this point.
