01/25/2005: As if "Elvis Presley, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." isn't enough...
we've just heard that Todd McFarlane Toys is coming out with a new Elvis Presley figure in April of this year.
If you're not familiar with them, McFarlane Toys produces some of the most amazing, most lifelike collectible "action figures" known to man. Just check out The King, as interpreted by McFarlane:
Put some Elvis classics on in the background, and you can swear you see it moving.
I myself own one McFarlane figure. After spending my childhood watching this man hurl incredible pitches to Memphis native Tim McCarver, I just had to have this first series Cooperstown Collection™ figure of Bob Gibson:
Almost as good as a summer's day in Busch Stadium. 1967 championship season, of course.
