01/24/2005: The Dark Bilious Vapors Master Plan for World Conquest™ is on schedule
I'm pleased to note for the record an expansion of our authorship here, as I'm pleased to welcome Karen McLauchlan to our ranks.
I'm going to let Karen introduce herself, which includes revealing as much or as little of her background as she chooses. I will mention that she's a fellow alum of Northwestern University Law School, that she is, like myself, "retired" from the active practice of law (scare quotes there only because I'm not sure you can truly describe my withdrawal from practice as "retiring", but what the hell), and she has had a very interesting and varied career path--perhaps more interesting and varied than my own, if such a thing is possible.
So please give Karen a warm welcome.
