01/18/2005: Just think of it as evolution in action....
We learn from the Associated Press that a 23 year old woman fell to her death while attempting to do a handstand on the handrail of a second-floor hotel balcony.
Of course her last words were, "Watch to see what I can still do!" I've just about concluded there's a law requiring such declarations before one dies in a more-than-usually stupid fashion.

The commonly heard last words are: "I wonder what this does?", which are usually associated with large, red, covered switches under signs that feature skulls and crossed bones.

Around these parts the most common famous last words tend to be "Hold mah beer."

Acutally, Mike, it's "Hold my beer and WATCH THIS!"
Ah well. I suppose the gene pool needs a little chlorine now and then.
