Just how bad does your signature for a credit card transaction have to be before it will attract the attention of a retail clerk?

That was a riot.
But... In real life I actually had someone buy a $2500 home entertainment system on my card once. They signed their name with a wavy up-down-up-down line and nothing more. The signature went through, and I didn't learn about it until the bill came (!). So I can't say I'm surprised, except maybe for the stick figures, and of course the very last one.
