01/15/2005: Planet hunter to lecture at Rhodes
Dr. Debra Fischer, assistant professor of astronomy at San Francisco State University, will be delivering a lecture entitled "The Hunt for Other Worlds" at Rhodes College on Thursday, January 20.
Dr. Fischer was part of the team of astronomers who discovered the first multi-planet solar system outside our own.
The lecture will be at 7 p.m. in the McCallum Ballroom of the Bryan Campus Life Center. It is free and open to the public.
