01/04/2005: A man, a phone, free long distance, and way too much time on his hands....
Surely you remember the last time you were doing whatever it was you were doing, whereever you were doing it, when the soulful music and lyrics of Tommy Tutone's "Jenny (867-5309)" wafted its way into your ears and your consciousness, right?
No, neither do I. But surely hearing that classic of American pop culture inspired you to take your phone in hand, gird your loins, and commence to dial the telephone number "867-5309" in every area code there is, right?
No, me neither. But, believe it or not, some demented genius got that idea, and now we can admire in awe the majesty of his research results. Special kudos to our intrepid researcher for actually highlighting those results where, not only did he receive an answer, but that answer actually mentioned Jenny.
Enjoy.

In 615, 8675309 was, for the longest time, an antique/used book store in Murfreesboro. When they got new owners, they got tired of the phone number in a hurry.
Coincidentally enough, I had the 867 prefix myself. I wrote a song about my phone number, but it wasn't nearly as catchy or popular. Or even put to music.
