12/31/2004: Unit Watch: the pain may finally be over, and before I had to run a pencil through my temples....
Lee Sinins is reporting that supposedly the Yankees have finally made their deal for Randy Johnson. The deal apparently involves sending Johnson to the D'backs for pitchers Javier Vazquez and Brad Halsey, catcher Dioner Navarro and $9 million (Sinins also speculates that there is a possibility that the D'backs may then deal Vazquez to another team in a bit). Expect an announcement next week (as for me, even though it's probably a done deal (Lee's never led us wrong before), I'll only believe it when I see it).
Can we get back to more important things now?
