12/30/2004: Is the middle infield set now?
On the Cardinals front, Lee Sinins is reporting that according to NY Newsday the Cardinals have come to terms with free-agent second baseman Roberto Alomar on a one year deal. No salary figure is reported. Sinins further reports that the St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that representatives of the Cardinals front office "do not know" if this is a done deal or not.
