12/13/2004: Happy Election Day!
Today, in the 50 state capitals, the real presidential election will be taking place. Today is the day that the various presidential electors--back on November 2, if you voted in the presidential election at all, you didn't vote for George Bush or John Kerry; rather, you voted for a group of faceless party functionaries that pledged to you that they would vote for your candidate of choice in the Electoral College--meet to cast their votes for President and Vice-President.
So enjoy the election, even if there probably won't be any surprises.
