11/12/2004: I never knew partying was dangerous....
Rachel has posted her email of the day (excerpt):
Of my friends and myself who attended the Bucc party for your blog, bravo! In fact, one of my friends Mike had such a rockin' time he tore his ACL on the de facto dance floor.Funny, tears of the ACL were something I associate with the baseball diamond, not the dance floor.
What next? The Dread Rotator Cuff Blowout?

Hey! Right this moment I still have a huge ankle brace on from my severe sprain that I got on on the streets of Nashville on 10/3/04 at 3am.

It still hurts.

But I expect that kind of daredevil, at any risk to life and limb, partying from *you* Roboto. You've got an image to maintain.

Yeah, that was the last time that Captain T was in Nashville. That time, he brought a ladyfriend.
This weekend, he comes up here solo. It'll be fun. Did you see that that blogger from Cleveland (Life, Liberty, Pursuit of your Boyfriend) emailed us and she wants to hang out? The blog pays for itself!

No shit! Damn, if I were about 20 years younger and seriously suave like you, I'd consider turning this blog into a "hangout with cool chicks" project.
But no doubt I'd only get laughed at. But have fun with her and let us all know how it turned out.

We met up with her, which was fun. Of course, you have to take the good with the bad.
Today, someone anonymously emailed me pictures of my head cropped out of pictures from the site with cryptic messages attached. Hope you guys enjoyed TNF while it lasted.

What? That's really weird....
Do I interpret that as saying you're shutting down TNF? Damn, that means I'm going from a vicarious social life to none at all.
I'm beginning to think that if you want to see a picture of me, just look up "pathetic loser" in the dictionary.

Nah, I meant that sarcastically; it'll be shut down when the stalker tracks me down and kills me.

Ah, that's a partial relief. Nice to know TNF isn't going down yet, though I'll be sorry to see you stalked and killed.
