10/15/2004: Proving the truth of the adage....
"It's not what you know, it's who", Brian Gunn at Redbird Nation acknowledges (well, somewhat implicitly) that his status as the Emperor of the Baseball Blogosphere has been used to bring some well deserved attention to other members of the Gunn family:
I went to college in Worcester, Massachusetts, and back then we had a name for cold, ceaseless, driving rain: "Worcestering." It's miserable stuff (in fact, the Fox cameras showed a close-up of my mom and brother at one point, and while my brother looked positively bedraggled, my mom looked like she was being eaten by her parka).:-)
Actually, I'm sincere in my dubbing Brian "the Emperor....". Frankly, I don't think there's a better baseball blog out there than Redbird Nation. If it isn't on your daily read list, it should be.
