10/11/2004: It may be a long postseason....
Generally, it's my habit when there's something on TV that I want to see to tune in early (30-60 minutes or so) to the channel I'll be watching, so I don't miss anything. Last year, the hour before baseball postseason games on Fox were, IIRC, The Steve Harvey Show followed by King of the Hill, which was a pretty enjoyable hour's light entertainment. Unfortunately, this year the hour before postseason games appears to be Girlfriends (an urban-ethnic female oriented sitcom), which is only tolerable, and Malcolm in the Middle, which I think sucks more than any alleged "comedy" I've seen in a long time (though I do think that Jane Kaczmarek is a babe; unfortunately in Malcolm she a) gets too, too little air time, and b) wears way too many clothes for my taste).
It's gonna be a long October.
