[I]t’s hard to argue that Bonds isn’t a media darling. The surlier Barry gets, the faster it seems writers and commentators are to say phrases like "MVP" and "Greatest Player ever." The media seems to have an Ike and Tina relationship with Barry Bonds. The more he’s nasty and slaps them around, the more they love him.
