09/10/2004: And in Missouri, would they have charged it as armed criminal action?
The Associated Press informs us that a Daytona Beach man, in an argument with his girlfriend, came after her swinging.... a three foot alligator. Despite the use of a quite unusual weapon, the case was pled down to misdemeanor battery and possession of an alligator.
How come I never got to handle cases like that in my legal career?
