Alas, I decided to pack it in right before the Padres erupted for a 4 run seventh, breaking a 3-3 tie for a 7-3 drubbing of the Birdinals. Oh well, you can't win 'em all. At least until tonight the "L10" column on MLB's major league standings page still says "9-1". That's not a bad ten game record. Not bad at all.
