08/27/2004: It's about time....
Cardinals pitcher Jeff Suppan finally garners his first hit of the season; he's been 0 for 43 this season (counting the tail end of last season, I think it was Al Hrabosky who just pointed out Jeff's been 0 for 48 or so since getting his last hit off Brett Tomko back when Tomko was pitching for the Cardinals last year). And it was a nice hit too; a good punch out to the opposite field.
