08/27/2004: Random bites from Air America news....
- According to an NY Times interview, Bush finally admits a mistake. WTF????? I'll have to go look for that pronto...UPDATE: Jeralyn Merritt at TalkLeft is on top of the story. And if you want the story from a respected source, here's the Reuters story.
- 10 or so "Nobel economics laureates" (don't get me started on how the economics Nobel isn't a real Nobel) have endorsed John Kerry, basically saying that if we get four more years of Bushonomics the economy's going to be shit....
- And Kerry's finally hitting back at Bush on the "flip-flop" issue, pointing out that Bush has quite a few "changes of mind" on his record as well. (hint the campaign: take those economic laureate endorsements, and a piece of advice from Bill "Big Dog" Clinton: "It's the economy, stupid!!!" Well, maybe the economy and Iraq, too. But definitely the economy, ok? There's a whole buttload of us mere schmoes who are terrified of what's going to happen if we lose our jobs under four more years of Bushonomics....)
