08/17/2004: If I were about 10 years younger....
I'd consider asking Lesley for a date. At any rate, I see that she and I agree about Dubya:
Anyway, there are many reasons why I don't like Bush. The social segment of the Republican platform is pretty high up on the list, but also, I just don't think I'd like him as a person. He's just one of those people I dislike.
He's that guy in high school who was popular for no good reason. Maybe he played baseball, so he had a letter jacket. But, mostly, he was just a shithead with an attitude problem. Cracking jokes that weren't funny and making fun of other kids who were actually trying to learn something and make good grades. He was the jerk that yelled "you suck!" to the kids in the band at pep rallies and football games. He was the guy that no one really liked, but everyone was scared to stand up to. For, really, no particular good reason. There are millions of guys just like him--they have big, circular heads and flat faces. When they go to college, they join the elite fraternities whose members make sure the others all get good grades by whatever means necessary despite having non-stop parties.
I have always, always, always hated guys like that. I hated them in high school. I hated them in college at Memphis State, where they "ended up" because some of their parents actually were concerned about them and yanked them out of Ole Miss and Bama and Spring Hill and so on. And I hate working with them. And I hate having them as president.

She's "Well, I think I'm funny" under the "Memphis blogs not RTB members" section of the blogroll. Or just click here

She doesn't like links. Her livejournal, although published openly ON THE INTERNET, is private.

Well, nothing published openly on the internet is private. Including my email address or these comments, so if she has an objection to the linkage and she finds it, she can let me know and I'll be happy to delete it.
