08/16/2004: And we get to wondering....
The "You know you're from St. Louis when..." post drew a comment from an old blogfriend who is an immigrant to St. Louis. Which got me to wondering.....
One of the items on the "YKYFSt.LW..." list is: "Your first question to a new person is, 'Where did you go to High School?'"
How do non-St. Louis natives handle that one? Apologetically murmur, "Well, I moved here in..."? Or stare down the questioner while growling, "Stop being so damn parochial...."?
