That strikes me as somewhat of an exaggeration, but then again, this little squib from Brian Walton's game notes from last night's game (right hand column at the right, at least through tonight's game; if you're reading this anytime after today (8/5) it may disappear) makes you wonder:
Bulletin: Albert, Scott and Jim Are Good
The Cardinals 3-4-5 combination of Albert Pujols, Scott Rolen and Jim Edmonds all rank in the top 10 in eight National League offensive categories including home runs, RBI, runs, total bases, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, extra base hits and average vs. left handed pitching. Two of the three are represented in the top 10 in batting average, hits, road and night batting average.
