Today marks the 41st anniversary (by cover date) of the first appearance of Marvel Comics superhero The Mighty Thor, in issue #83 of Journey Into Mystery (which magazine slowly morphed into Journey Into Mystery with The Mighty Thor by issue #104, and then into simply The Mighty Thor by issue #126, and then back into Journey Into Mystery featuring The Lost Gods by issue #503).
