07/19/2004: Significant Days in American Letters
We learn from Gooseneck that Famed Gonzo Journalist Hunter S. Thompson racked up another full year of life yesterday--surprising a few observers, no doubt, who had weighty reservations that he'd ever make it this long.
In honor, I should probably dig out my copy of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and do some quick reading.
