Overheard on a WGN broadcast of a Chicago Cubs game:
Chip Caray: Opponents are hitting .250 against [Glendon] Rusch when his pitch count is below 100, but only .166 when it's above 100. What do you think that means?Source: King Kaufman's Sports Daily in Salon.
Steve Stone: It means he doesn't throw more than 100 pitches very often.
