07/16/2004: Um, am I missing something....
I stumbled across the Linux From Scratch website a bit ago; this is a site devoted to a project which facilitates the urge some of us demented geeks might have to roll our own Linux distros. Pretty laudable goal, I'll concede. But when I went to the FAQ page, I saw something interesting. The answer to the question, "Okay, so how do I get an LFS system?" tells the reader "The instructions how to create an LFS system are provided in the LFS book. Check out the URL's in the menu on the left to view the latest book version online...". but near as I can tell there's no menu to the left (link opens a new browser window). My eyes reveal nothing to the left of the webpage, save my monitor frame (I'm viewing the page in a maximized window; YMMV). I've clicked on all of the "Layout" options in the masthead there at the top, and none of them change the layout of the page (that I can tell....)
Um, attention to details, guys....
