A Memphis themed item from Joe Bob Briggs's "Week in Review" email newsletter:

Joseph Leroy Crouch Jr., on the lam after his wife was found murdered in their suburban Memphis home, couldn't resist performing at karaoke bars, allowing police to track him through Louisiana and Mississippi and eventually to Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, where he was captured after a tipster recognized him as a karaoke regular from his picture on "America's Most Wanted." When arrested, Crouch had his wife's car and a silver .25-caliber pistol, the same caliber used in the slaying. He told police that he'd been supporting himself by robbing stores and banks. He was shipped back to Memphis for the first step on his stairway to heaven.
