Dark Bilious Vapors

According to the "up to the minute" stories at mlb.com, apparently Cardinals third baseman Scott Rolen was hit in the head by a pitch during his plate appearance in the first inning in the game with the Pirates tonight. Looks from the box score like he was able to take his base and later scored, but in the bottom of the first he was replaced on the field by Hector Luna.

I hope all this means is that he was a little shaken up, and needs the rest of the evening off to collect himself. The loss of Rolen for any significant period of time could be devastating to the Cardinals....
