05/25/2004: Memphis/Mid-South Blogger's Bash
I don't know how many Memphis area bloggers actually pay attention to my blog that don't already read Half-Bakered, but in case there is one or two of you, you should hie thyself over to Half-Bakered because (A) Mike reads the Memphis papers so you don't have to, and (B) because Mike is again sounding the clarion call to action, and urging all us Memphis/Mid-South bloggers to get together for the next of a series of periodic Blogger's Bashes (permalink may be bloggered; if so scroll down to either the 5/25 entry titled "Memphis and Mid-South Bloggers Bash", or the 5/24 post which is identically titled).
As one of the charter attendees of the first Blogger's Bash, I can testify from personal experience that A Suitably Large Time Was Had By All, and (as Art Schroeder of the Noble Bachelors of St. Louis was always fond of saying) nobody was arrested. Seriously, it's a great way to put some faces to names (or faces to blogs, as it were), and a quite enjoyable way to pass what would otherwise be some wasted time. So go over to Mr. Mike's Rumpus Room of Journalistic Criticism (as I've come to think of Half-Bakered) and help us get our collective act together.
