they still have a healthy respect for tradition in Chicago. Not so, apparently in the Bronx, or so we hear from Joe Bob Briggs's Week In Review weekly email: they're selling Crunch 'n' Munch, not Cracker Jack, in Yankee Stadium! Joe Bob laments:

Yankee Stadium will no longer sell Cracker Jack. From now on, the seventh-inning stretch song will have to go this way:

Take me out to the ball game!
Take me out to the crowd!
Buy me some peanuts and Crunch 'n Munch,
I don't care if I never get . . .

Uhhhhhh. Punched? I don't care if I never get punched? What can you do with that?

Yes, it's true, Crunch 'n Munch has replaced Cracker Jack at the concession stand. And it gets worse: there's NO PRIZE in a box of Crunch 'n Munch.

Does Randy Johnson know about this?
