05/18/2004: Baseball blog related "news"....
I was pleased to see an email from Ray Mileur in my inbox today (no, not to me personally, it was the first post of the reactivated mailing list that Ray maintains in connection with The Cardinals Birdhouse). Ray is back from Korea (in time for this week's May meeting of the St. Louis Browns Fan Club; I'm happy that Ray didn't have to miss that), and that means that the Birdhouse should be getting regular updates soon. I hope that Brian Walton keeps maintaining The Birdhouse Annex, but at any rate that material should be incorporated into the Birdhouse as well.
And speaking of Korea, the Cardinals blogosphere gains a new member: Beau Chapman's The Psychotic Cardinal, a Cards fan blogging from Korea, as we see in this complaint:
I hate Mondays (for me it is Tuesdays because I am stationed in Korea) because sometimes the Cardinals don't play. Each day the Cardinals are off, I find it hard to get through the day. There is no box score to look forward to when I get home, no game to try and sneak on cbssportsline and follow while at work, usually no "Cardinals' analysis," ...nothing.Needless to say, I've added Beau to the blogroll.
