05/16/2004: Prospect watch....
Unfortunately, I'm not paying enough attention to the Cards organization below Memphis right now, and I'm missing a great story over in East Tennessee, where apparently Cardinals prospect Brad Thompson is tearing up the Southern League and is in danger of setting the minor league record for consecutive scoreless (or is that perfect?) innings pitched.
If I'm lucky, perhaps The Baseball Widow might keep us posted, since she lives in that neck of the woods.
