The First Church of Jesus Christ, Elvis

The "Sacred Heart of Elvis" at the top of the page is worth the price of admission all by itself, I think.

However....

I am constrained to think that the First Church of Jesus Christ, Elvis may be heretical. Right underneath the Sacred Heart of Elvis is this quote:

"For unto you is born this day in the city of Memphis a Presley, which is Elvis the King."

Um, guys..... Elvis the King was born unto us in the town of Tupelo, not the city of Memphis. We just adopted him.

I wonder how the First Church's scriptural literalists are going to squirm out of that one?
